This is pure beef tallow, so yes—it has a natural tallow scent. Think butter, pasture, earthy. We don't wet-render our tallow (which removes the smell but also destroys the beneficial fatty acids). Australian Grass-Fed Beef Tallow
Tallow's fatty acid composition is nearly identical to your skin's natural oils: 47% oleic acid, 26% palmitic acid, 14% stearic acid. Your skin recognises these fats because they're the same structure it's already made of. When you apply tallow, your skin doesn't treat it as foreign—it integrates it directly into your existing lipid matrix.
Jojoba Seed Oil
Technically a liquid wax that closely mimics skin sebum. Enhances absorption and provides additional moisture without heaviness. Hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic.
Beeswax
Creates a protective seal that locks in moisture while still allowing skin to breathe. Anti-inflammatory and naturally antimicrobial. One of the gentlest occlusive ingredients available.
How to use
Take a pea-sized amount and warm it between your fingertips. The warmth helps the tallow melt and makes it easier to apply.
Apply to damp skin (this helps absorption) by gently pressing it into your face rather than rubbing. Or massage in with Gua Sha.
Use morning and night after cleansing. A little goes a long way—one 50g jar lasts 3+ months with daily use.

Your traditional tallow products are 100% Natural This means there are no additives. This will also mean your products will change with the weather.
In cooler and cold weather your creams will go harder and sometimes grainy. This is normal. Storing in a dry place around 22-25 degrees for the best results.
