It started with my own skin
Hi, I'm Ayla. DAEAR began in my kitchen, after I went looking for skincare that actually felt good on reactive, barrier-stressed skin and couldn't find it. So I studied formulation properly and made it myself.
Everything is handmade here on the Queensland coast, in small batches, kept natural and designed specifically for barrier care. A handful of honest products and a simple ritual. That's the whole idea.

Honey Oil Cleanser
An oil that turns to a soft milk the moment it meets water. It lifts makeup and the day away, then rinses with cold water and leaves nothing tight behind. Raw honey and glycerin sit underneath for a softer finish.

Dew Drops Barrier Oil
A concentrated facial oil, double-infused with frankincense resin and goji berry in a jojoba base. Two or three drops, pressed into damp or dry skin. Light, fast and the layer that makes everything above it feel softer.

Earth Tallow Balm
A pea-sized amount, warmed between your fingertips and pressed into skin. It melts at skin temperature into a soft, sealing finish. This is the step that holds everything in. One 50g jar lasts around three months.

Tallow isn't a trend. It's one of the oldest skincare ingredients we have, and your skin already knows what to do with it.
The simple science
Grass-fed tallow is naturally rich in oleic, palmitic and stearic fatty acids, the same lipid families already found in human skin. That close match is why a good tallow balm feels less like applying a product and more like giving your skin something it recognises.
We never use tallow alone. Each balm is double-infused with seed oils and botanicals, then finished with a gentle essential oil profile. The result is a concentrated, water-free formula where a little goes a long way, with nothing your skin doesn't need.
