Apply a facial oil or balm to create slip. Our tallow balm or dew drops oil work beautifully with gua sha massage.
Step 2: Use Gentle, Upward Strokes
Hold the gua sha at a 15-degree angle to your skin. Use gentle to medium pressure, always moving in upward and outward motions.
Step 3: Follow Your Face Map
- Neck: Start at the base, stroke upward toward jawline (5-10 strokes each side)
- Jawline: From chin to ear, defining the jaw (5-10 strokes each side)
- Cheeks: From nose outward to temples (5-10 strokes each side)
- Under Eyes: Very gently from inner to outer corner (3-5 strokes each side)
- Forehead: From center outward to temples (5-10 strokes)
