How Long Until I See Results?
Dryness/dehydration: 1-3 days. Your barrier will feel less tight almost immediately.
Redness/sensitivity: 3-7 days as your barrier starts repairing itself.
Texture/acne: 2-4 weeks minimum. Barrier repair takes time.

Why Tallow Works
Your skin's outermost barrier layer – the stratum corneum – is made of ceramides, cholesterol, and free fatty acids arranged in a lipid matrix. These fatty acids (palmitic, stearic, oleic) create the protective barrier that prevents water loss and keeps irritants out.
Tallow's fatty acid composition is roughly 47% oleic acid, 26% palmitic acid, and 14% stearic acid. That's nearly identical to the fatty acids naturally present in your stratum corneum. Your skin barrier recognises these fats because they're the same structure it's already made of.
When you apply tallow, your skin doesn't treat it as foreign – it integrates it directly into the existing lipid matrix. That's why it works as an occlusive moisturiser. It seals in water and supports the barrier structure with fats your skin already knows how to use.

How to store & Use
Please store away from moisture in a cool dry, dark place to help keep your cream lasting longer. Store under 25 degrees.
How to use.
Morning:
- Rinse with water or use oil cleanser
- Apply Dew Drops oil to damp skin
- Seal with Botanical Lotion or thin layer of balm
- SPF
Night:
- Oil cleanse to remove makeup/SPF
- Dew Drops on damp skin
- Lock in with Earth/Rose/Scent-Free balm
- Or use the Australia botanical cream instead of tallow.
